An Iranian family mourns the loss of the father who was murdered by right-wing extremists. Ali, his son, flees into hatred and fantasies of revenge, instead of taking care of his mother and siblings. Nevertheless, the bond between son and father is strong enough to save him in a crucial moment.

Filmul arată discriminarea și violența cu care se confruntă Ezidi Kurds (Yazidis) din cauza religiei, printr-un eveniment simbolic care a avut loc între elevii școlii primare din partea turcească a Mesopotamiei. Acest film de ficțiune este inspirat de evenimente reale din zonă, este jucat de 39 de copii kurzi din satele de lângă Hasankeyf și filmat în Hasankeyf, un oraș antic, care urmează să fie scufundat sub apă în 2017 prin barajul hidroelectric Ilisu.

The film is showcasing the discrimination and violence faced by Ezidi Kurds (Yazidis) due to their religion, in a symbolic event which took place between primary school children in Turkish part of Mesopotamia. This fiction film is inspired by true events in the region, performed by 39 local Kurdish children of Hasankeyf villages and shooted in Hasankeyf, an ancient city, which is planned to go under water in 2017 by Ilisu Hydroelectric Dam.

O femeie tânără din Rwanda este pe cale să nască. Bebelușul nu este întors și viața ei e în pericol. În același timp, unei fete din Suedia i se rupe apa. Decide să se descurce singură și refuză orice ajutor. Aceste două povești se împletesc și par să se întâmple simultan în două părți complet diferite ale lumii.

A young woman in Rwanda is about to give birth. The baby is turned the wrong way and her life is in danger. At the same time the water breaks for a woman in Sweden. She decides that she will cope with it herself; she refuses to accept any help. These two stories of women giving birth are woven into each other and appear to go on simultaneously in two completely different parts of the world.
