MISSION

REPLIKA CENTER is focused on socially relevant theatrical projects, film screenings with educational impact, participatory art, workshops, debates, conferences, discussions with the public, meetings with teachers, theatrical educators and initiators of interdisciplinary cultural projects.

REPLIKA CENTER aims to develop and promote artistic research programs and creations focused on acute themes and subjects in contemporary society, valuing art in solidarity with the world we live in.

REPLIKA CENTER aims to become a platform for pedagogical creation and participatory art through which marginalized public categories can self-represent and create art that defines their needs and expectations.

VISION

We believe that community art can ennoble society, every person is born an artist, every person is a teacher in continuous training.

We believe that access to any cultural event should be free, supported by the entire community.

We support the right to representation of marginalized categories who face ignored or insufficiently explored issues.

EDUCATIONAL THEATRE

The idea of school and the idea of theater are one and the same idea – they were born together.

Educational theater is the form of theater through which participants educate each other, in the spirit of creativity, spontaneity, respect for individual and group involvement, the exchange of ideas and questions, in order to generate artistic approaches for collective representation.

Any theatrical performance has, more or less, an educational role. Educational theater aims to stimulate and permanently educate, both in the work process and during theatrical performances, the power of improvisation, the involvement and spontaneous resolution of stage situations, emotional intelligence, situational adequacy and the imagination of those who create it.

Educational theater does not rely on competition and “talent reserves”, but emphasizes the role and willingness of each participant to explore their inner world. Talent is the story of each of us. It just takes a little attention and trust to bring it to light.

Educational theater emphasizes the role of play and the invention of life situations that, by experiencing them directly, participants subsequently integrate into their horizon of social knowledge.
